This nationally recognised Fire Training course (CPPFES2005 – Demonstrate First Attack Firefighting Equipment) teaches participants how to correctly identify and safely use first attack firefighting equipment to control small workplace fires.

Delivered onsite at your workplace, this course combines theory with practical, hands-on training using real flames in a controlled environment.

Participants will learn how to safely use:

• Fire Extinguishers

• Fire Blankets

• Fire Hose Reels

This training is ideal for offices, warehouses, schools, healthcare facilities, and any workplace that requires staff to respond quickly and effectively in the early stages of a fire emergency.

The course runs for approximately 2 hours of face-to-face practical training, plus a short online pre-course learning module to prepare participants for the onsite practical session.

This blended delivery ensures participants arrive ready for an engaging, hands-on session focused on safe and effective fire equipment use.

• Maximum: 15 participants per session

Larger workplaces can book multiple sessions or split teams across different times to ensure everyone receives training.

An outdoor area suitable for live fire extinguisher training is required — a carpark or paved area is ideal.

The space must be free from flammable materials and vegetation to allow for safe extinguisher use.

This course involves the use of a fire hose reel, your facility must have at least one operational fire hose reel accessible for the practical component.

We’ll supply all fire props, extinguishers, and safety equipment — you simply provide the space, and we’ll handle the rest.

The cost of this course is $180 per participant.

All training equipment, extinguishers, fire trays, and certificates are included.

Invoices are issued after training, based on the number of attendees (or the minimum of 5 required).
